General Contracting
General Construction services will result from competitive bids and negotiated projects. Services that Harrison Construction will offer under this category will be to accept trade contractor sub pricing and combine these with work to be performed by our own forces to obtain a final bid price for that particular project. Competitive bid pricing can be either a public job where plans are obtained through an architect and/or consultant or a private job where the owner selects a list of "invited" bidders. Portions of these projects will be completed by direct employees.
Examples of work that will be self performed include general project management and administration, building layout, demolition, cleanup, minor site prep, concrete work, steel erection, carpentry, material procurement, Division 8 installation and Division 10 installation. Craftsmen will be hired to perform general labor, concrete carpentry, and general and finish carpentry, as well as supervision. Material and equipment to be utilized on each particular project will be obtained through vendors and suppliers and will be installed by each respective trade contractor or our own forces.
